NADA 2022 is fast approaching. And with it comes bountiful opportunities to learn from auto industry experts on how to take your dealership to the next level. This year’s show boasts some great educational sessions and tactical workshops. From the Dealer Learning Lab Sessions and the Distinguished Speaker Series…all the way up to the exciting keynote speakers, NADA 2022 is going to be electric. Excitement is building as March 10 grows closer every day. So, MAX Digital wants to help you on your road to NADA 2022 by highlighting some of the educational opportunities at the show.
Up first on March 10 is MAX Digital’s own Director of Strategic Accounts, Tim Scoutelas. His variable operations session will cover how to run a successful customer buying center. With over 25 years of experience in the auto industry, Tim brings a unique perspective to the discussion about acquiring inventory. Based on his years as a used car director and car purchasing manager, Tim suggests a customer buying center as a cost-effective way to acquire high-grossing, fast-turning inventory while driving local traffic to your lot. It's one of the best methods to capture more consumer-sourced trades, thereby helping to build a better-known inventory…with the full vehicle history straight from the consumer. It also gives you the opportunity to inspect the automobile for yourself.
Specifically for this session, Tim will help navigate the five important steps to launching and running a successful customer buying center. He will provide tips and tricks that will help dealers focus on securing the right inventory for 2022 while building customer relationships for the future. Join Tim on March 10 in room W212 from 4-5 p.m.
Next, check out Doug Hadden, Vice President of Field Operations at ACV Auctions, and his Dealer Learning Lab which will focus on inventory volatility, and provide ways to stay ahead of disruptions. Leveraging over 25 years of direct experience, Doug’s session will teach attendees how to prepare for market fluctuations. He will explain how to use better data to value cars accurately.
On top of that, Doug will go in depth on buying more profitable vehicles, managing inventory, and predicting trends. Learn how to diversify acquisition with multiple sources for used car inventory while building profit centers in both retail and wholesale. The Dealer Learning Lab is new to the show this year, and will take place at Booth 1911W. Doug’s session is from 9:00-9:20 a.m. on March 12.
Another highlight includes Michael Hayes of the NADA Academy who will host a session on used automobiles with a spotlight on sourcing for success. He will focus on the pre-owned vehicles, and will highlight the opportunities available to secure valuable inventory. Michael’s presentation will have two sessions, first on March 10 from 4-5 p.m., then on March 12 from 9-10 a.m.
